The Lázaro Galdiano Museum is a little gem held in a Neo-Renaissance palace in aristocratic quarter “Barrio de Salamanca”.
The collection housed in this palace was gathered by the couple formed by exquisite Spanish editor José Lázaro Galdiano and Argentinean millionaire Paula Florido.
Their passion for art led them to auction houses in Paris and New York to build an impressive collection, which had, among other aims, that of filling the gaps in the Prado Museum foreign schools.
Madrid Original® suggests a 1’5 hour tour including names such as Bosch, Cranach, Giambologna, Greco, Zurbarán, Murillo, Reynolds, Gilbert Stuart, Constable and Goya, to whom one third of the visit will be devoted
