Hoy se acaban las exposiciones "Olga Picasso" (en Caixaforum) y "Balenciaga y la pintura española" (en el Museo Thyssen). Pero también se clausura la exposición de Piranesi en la Biblioteca Nacional. Si no la habéis visto aún, tenéis hasta las 14:00 para adentraros en la arquitectura de papel de Giovanni Battista Piranesi, el artista veneciano cuyas fantasías influyeron en nuestro Goya.

A la vuelta de las vacaciones, nos hemos encontrado con una grata sorpresa en la sala III del Museo del Prado: ya cuelga allí, recién restaurado, el "Retrato de niña con paloma" de Simon Vouet que se adquirió el año pasado con una campaña de micromecenazgo. Desde Madrid Original contribuimos en su día con nuestra aportación y guiando gratuitamente a aquellos clientes nuestros que se sumaron igualmente a la campaña.

Sólo falta un día para que se clausure definitivamente la exposición de pintura religiosa del pintor decimonónico Antonio María Esquivel en el Museo del Prado. Os lo recordamos hoy, Domingo de Resurrección, con "El Salvador", un monumental lienzo en el cruce de caminos de neoclasicismo y romanticismo.
